A crashpad is a temporary housing solution for overnight accommodations.

Crashpads are an affordable option, particularly for aviation professionals that are on-call or that live in one city but are based in another. Airline employees don’t always live in the city in which they work. That makes travelling home every night a luxury that many do not have. It’s also why so many air crews make use of crash pads as a home away from home. Crashpads are typically located near airports so that crews can easily access transportation to and from the airport.

CrashPads are a great way to bring in some extra income or help pay off a mortgage.

If you have a spare room in your house or apartment, you can fit them out with bunk beds and rent them out to industry professional flight attendants, pilots and other airline employees.
